Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations with clear expectations for service, execution, and results.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on presence, and drive office readiness, staffing, and compliance to deliver exceptional client outcomes and business performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit settings with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership to coach and develop teams and ensure accountability.
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations across multiple locations including labor management.
• Experience leading change and adopting new processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with consistent standards.
• Evaluate delivery quality and client impact across locations to improve service.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead staff by setting expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and outcomes to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational results across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve business results.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, compliance, SOPs.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and office readiness.
