Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to manage 4–6 retail offices and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, team performance, and business results. As a visible, hands-on leader, you’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, and ensure offices are prepared to serve clients with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.
• Ability to manage facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Experience with change leadership and prioritizing across locations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and data interpretation.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline and consistency.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to drive improvement.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client acquisition.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
