Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef to lead culinary teams in the Florida region with Orlando as a base. You will own kitchen operations, menu execution, and high-quality dining experiences across accounts.

The role requires 5+ years of culinary leadership in high-volume settings, strong cost controls, and a passion for training staff. Relocation assistance is available, and travel across Florida is expected.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience.
• Strong hands-on cooking skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations, including batch cooking.
• Solid knowledge of food cost controls, production planning, sanitation, and presentation.
• Catering experience and ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations with a focus on great food, consistent execution, and a safe, organized workplace.
• Plan and execute regular and modified menus while maintaining recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
• Stay hands-on with production, taste food, and coach your team to deliver quality at every meal.
• Train and develop associates in culinary techniques, equipment use, food safety, and sanitation.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, production, and waste to control costs and keep kitchens running efficiently.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with company standards and health regulations.
• Partner with account leaders and clients to improve the dining experience and bring culinary programs to life.
