Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Sr. Regional Permitting and Compliance Environmental Engineer to lead permitting execution across U.S. sites and later own a defined region as the portfolio grows.

You will manage NEPA/EA/EIS workstreams, coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies, and ensure environmental commitments are integrated into FEL 1–3 design and construction. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of U.S. environmental permitting and compliance experience in mining, energy, or large infrastructure.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the multijurisdictional U.S. environmental regulatory framework.
• Experience managing NEPA EA/EIS processes with BLM and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Working knowledge of CAA, CWA, RCRA, ESA, EPCRA, and state/local permitting programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute permitting roadmaps across federal, state, and local agencies for all project sites in Mariana’s current U.S. portfolio.
• Manage NEPA EA/EIS workstreams from scoping to Record of Decision, ensuring alignment with design and budgets.
• Integrate permitting requirements into FEL 1–3 and detailed design with engineering teams.
• Serve as primary liaison with federal agencies (BLM, USACE, EPA, USFWS) and state/local authorities.
• Implement and audit Environmental Management Systems (EMS) at project sites across the portfolio.
