Job summary

Tech Electronics is seeking a Senior System Engineer/Designer to coordinate design activities of system engineers and CAD operators, align priorities with the Director of Engineering, and ensure deliverables meet customer requirements.

You will establish schedules, maintain technical libraries, and provide technical guidance across engineering teams while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Two year Technical degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering and/or equivalent technical degree.
• Three years experience in a role where fundamentals of electronics are used daily or as an Electrical Engineer.
• Management experience with a similar supervisory structure.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or working toward completing one.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering deliverables conform to customer specifications at all phases.
• Maintain a technical library including standardized drawing packages and as-built drawings.
• Work with Director of Engineering to evaluate performance, identify needs, and assist with training and development.
• Establish and maintain work schedules for all Engineers, Designers, and CAD Operators.
• Provide technical advice and resolve problems in support of all channels.
• Develop and maintain business processes to sustain efficient design and documentation.
• Meet with customers to define and improve deliverables.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with employees and managers to promote a cooperative environment.

Position Overview
