The Regional Engineer I assists the Division Engineering Director with developing and implementing divisional engineering plans aligned with corporate strategies and policies. The role supports systems build and maintenance efforts for the HFC network and video, high-speed data, and voice products in assigned systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting development and implementation of engineering plans.
• Supporting build and maintenance of HFC networks and related products.
• Assisting with engineering, construction, and maintenance of systems.
• Providing hands-on support in head-end operations and creating engineering strategies.
• Supporting technical projects and initiatives launches.
• Providing expertise to local technical teams on capital projects, network performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring compliance with FCC regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 5-7 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and up to 75% travel.
• Thorough knowledge of cable technology, including HFC architecture, RF, optical distribution, and data networking (especially DOCSIS).
• Strong PC skills and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
