Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions seeks a Regional Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead multiple ED sites with high reliability and outcomes. The role partners with hospital leaders, physicians, APPs, and HR to build strong teams, coach performance, and achieve key metrics.

Travel across region and 50:50 mix of in-office and on-call leadership are expected. The position emphasizes governance, budget development, credentialing, and risk management while fostering a culture of accountability and

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board certification required for physician leadership.
• Active medical license and DEA registration required.
• Experience leading ED or service-line operations across multiple sites.
• Strong data-driven management, budgeting and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop talent and coach leaders across a region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional ED leadership teams to achieve KPIs.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and provider performance across sites.
• Monitor patient experience, operations, and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate budgets, productivity goals and cost management.
• Ensure credentialing, training and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with hospital leadership and external partners to drive results.
