Job summary

Interstates is hiring a Regional Manager to lead operations, growth, and performance across a defined region. You will oversee office and field activities, travel within the region, and drive safety-first leadership.

The role requires construction and leadership experience, with a focus on project delivery, budgeting, and staff development. This position blends office and site work with frequent travel and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; combination of related education and experience considered.
• Construction and leadership experience required.
• Experience managing projects in key industries such as food processing, energy facilities, water/wastewater plants or similar industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day regional office activities within a specific region.
• Foster and maintain a strong safety-first culture in both office and site environments.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures across office and field operations within the region.
• Drive operational excellence ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures in each office.
• Develop and mentor regional staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and guide development.
• Collaborate for Business Development to execute sales strategies for the region.
• Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies, as necessary.
• Manage and track regional budgets and expenditures.
• Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
• Oversee project delivery in the region to deliver high quality work within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with cross function teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Build client relations within a region to support regional growth and enhance the Interstates portfolio for future opportunities.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement or growth.
• Oversee recruitment needs and staffing levels to meet operational needs in the region.
