Job summary

Communicare, Inc. seeks an Early Childhood Specialist to coordinate behavioral health services for ages 0–6 across clinics and community sites. You will lead program development and work with internal staff and external partners to deliver comprehensive therapy and supportive services.

The role requires a master's degree and state credentials, plus licensure or eligibility. You will perform assessments, provide supervision, and contribute to CQI efforts in a fast-paced regional team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and state credentials required.
• One year of experience with emotionally disturbed children preferred.
• Must provide own transportation to service locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates early childhood behavioral health services across settings in region.
• Lead development and implementation of early childhood programming.
• Assist with timesheets, productivity reports and admin tasks when needed.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for children 0–8 and crisis intervention.
• Perform intake assessments and develop treatment plans; arrange testing when needed.
• Ensure timely documentation for medical records and billing.
• Maintain high quality client care and coordinate with supervisors.
• Identify training needs and support staff involved with early childhood services.
• Consult with admin/clinical supervisor on clinical issues and procedures.
• Coordinate space, staff, and resources across clinics in the region.
• Provide clinical supervision per licensure and participate in CQI activities.
