Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Land Use & Transportation Analyst to support the DRI program within the 13‑county metro Atlanta region. You will review, coordinate, and recommend DRIs, working with GDOT, local governments, CIDs, and developers to understand transportation impacts and mitigation needs.

You will conduct TIP analyses, transit planning support, and produce technical documents, ensuring alignment with program goals, budgets, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in transportation planning, city planning, urban planning, transportation engineering, or related.
• Experience in transportation planning or DRIs is preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate DRIs and provide recommendations for inclusion in notices and decisions.
• Support transportation analysis, policy reviews, and technical documentation.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and technical writings for GDOT, regional partners, and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with local governments, CIDs, and developers; ensure project alignment with timelines and budgets.
