Job summary

CMC is seeking a regional truck driver to deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region. You will complete delivery paperwork, communicate load or timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers, and perform daily safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year of verified tractor-trailer experience.
• No DUI/DWI within the past five years.
• Ability to pass DOT physicals and drug testing.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Past experience with load securement and cargo inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate load or timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers.
• Conduct daily pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections of truck and cargo.
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Load, secure, and deliver cargo safely and on time.
• Maintain vehicle service and repair logs per regulations.
• Operate ELDs and safety dashcams (training provided).
• Learn new loading tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
