Job Overview

The Regional Director, Broker-Dealer Advisor Group, is responsible for business development and relationship management of both new and existing clients. This role involves leading sales activities and organizing efforts of client service team members to meet the needs of Advisors in the territory. Success requires strong knowledge of investments, capital markets, and asset allocation theory, along with excellent business development and client service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales and manage a territory primarily composed of wire-house financial advisors.
  • Develop new advisor relationships and deepen existing ones.
  • Consult with advisors to build efficient practices and deliver successful investment experiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues.
  • Present Dimensional’s investment capabilities and philosophy to various industry audiences.
  • Implement tailored initiatives and support company programs.
  • Collaborate within the team and serve as a sales and marketing thought leader.
  • Represent the Dimensional brand and investment philosophy industry-wide.
  • Drive revenue, AUM, and client growth within the territory.
Qualifications and Traits
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Wirehouse relationships and/or coverage experience on the West Coast are ideal.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment approach.
  • Proven track record in building advisor relationships and growing territories.
  • Network of fee-based financial advisors aligned with or interested in Dimensional’s philosophy.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to present to small and large groups effectively.
  • Mentorship skills for junior team members.
  • Results-oriented with a collaborative approach.
  • Securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 63/66) required; obtain Series 7 within 12 weeks of hire.
