Job summary
Corewell Health East is seeking a nationally recognized cardiologist to serve as the Regional Director of Structural Heart Disease in the Heart and Vascular Service Line, overseeing three campuses and expanding access to transcatheter therapies.
The Director will lead strategy, research and education, collaborating with cardiology, cardiac surgery, imaging, nursing and operations to position Corewell Health East as the regional destination for complex structural heart care.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
- Unrestricted Michigan MD/DO license.
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- Commitment to team-based care.
- Significant expertise in transcatheter valve and structural heart procedures.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Structural Heart Disease program across three campuses and advance patient-centered strategies.
- Develop research initiatives, expand clinical trials and education in structural heart disease.
- Partner with cardiology, cardiac surgery, imaging, nursing and operations to optimize care delivery.
- Oversee program growth, market expansion, patient satisfaction and value.
- Report to the Regional Division Chief of Cardiology and act as senior leader in Heart and Vascular Service Line.
