We market and sell over 300 innovative blends and spices to both consumers and chefs, with a primary emphasis on growing market share in the B2B segment.

Job Description:

The Regional Director of Sales - West is a key member of Spiceology. This role involves building and maintaining B2B customer relationships with distribution partners, brokers, and key accounts. You will onboard and manage partners to distribute and advocate for Spiceology products, focusing on expanding our customer and partner base by promoting our value proposition of quality, variety, and attractive packaging with our Periodic Table of Flavor. The ideal candidate must be based in the Mid-West, near a major airport.

Status and Compensation:

Remote, Full-Time
Pay Range: $90,000-$120,000

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily and long-term operations of Brokers, Regional Distributors, and Broadline Distributors.
  2. Set clear KPIs with Regional Brokers and Distributors.
  3. Collaborate with the VP of Foodservice, Brokers, and Distributors to identify prospective accounts and develop tailored pitches to close deals.
  4. Effectively communicate the benefits of Spiceology products to potential partners.
  5. Maintain an active distribution pipeline in Hubspot, prioritize contacts and deals, and communicate sales status to management.
  6. Represent Spiceology at conferences, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
  7. Coordinate with Client Success, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure customer growth and satisfaction.
Education and Experience:
  1. 7+ years of sales experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  2. 7+ years of experience leading and developing a broker sales team to meet sales targets.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic, with a team-oriented approach.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Ability to work independently, initiate projects, and understand business processes.
  2. Capability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  3. Effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity in changing situations.
  4. Leadership skills for managing a remote, diverse team across regions.
  5. Strong sales skills, including handling objections and communicating value propositions.
  6. Willingness to learn about Spiceology, the industry, and company goals.
  7. Willingness and ability to travel as needed, adhering to company travel policies.
