Job summary

The Bair Foundation seeks a Regional Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for programs across multiple Virginia offices. You will guide local directors to ensure high quality, compliant service delivery and sustainable growth aligned with the agency's mission.

Travel within Virginia is required as part of overseeing operations, with a focus on safety, outcomes, and collaboration with community partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field; master’s degree preferred.
• Requirements: Progressive leadership experience in child welfare, foster care, or human services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Vision by directing offices and aligning programs with agency standards.
• Ensure Safety & Quality in program implementation and compliance.
• Develop Leaders by supervising and coaching directors and supervisors across locations.
• Drive Outcomes by monitoring performance and implementing improvements.
• Support Growth & Sustainability through budgeting, program development, and new initiatives.

WHATYOU’LL DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT

Lead with Vision – Provide leadership anddirection to assigned offices, ensuring programs operate with excellence,integrity, and alignment to agency standards.

Ensure Safety & Quality – Overseeprogram implementation to ensure services are safe, nurturing, and compliantwith regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements.

Develop Leaders – Supervise, coach, andsupport directors and supervisors, promoting accountability, growth, andhigh-performing teams.

Drive Outcomes – Monitor programperformance, productivity, and outcomes, and implement improvement plans asneeded.

Support Growth & Sustainability –Assist with budgeting, program development, and new business initiatives,including proposals and strategic planning.

Collaborate & Represent – Buildstrong relationships with internal leaders, community partners, andstakeholders while staying informed on legislative and industry trends.

WHATYOU BRING (Basic Qualifications)

Education: Master's degree in Social Work or arelated human services field; master’s degree preferred

Requirements: Progressive leadership experiencein child welfare, foster care, or human services

Strong knowledge of regulatory, licensing, andaccreditation standards

Ability to manage multiple programs and leadteams across locations

Willingness and ability to travel as needed- Candidatesmust possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and vehicleregistration.
