Job Summary

As a Regional Director of Operations (RDO) you will lead, manage, and inspire a team of leaders in your region. You will be part of the regional leadership team and provide planning, direction, and guidance to the accounts in your territory, while establishing and maintaining strong client relationships. Your goal is to achieve operational and financial goals in a transformative environment.

Your role is integral to our organization, as you ensure the success and growth of the food services operations in your region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guides and motivates a team of directors and their respective teams, to deliver exceptional service to patients, guests and clients.
  2. Conducts audits at all accounts including but not limited to:
  • Financial and Contractual
  • Sanitation and Food Safety
  • Retail and Patient Tray Standards
  • Patient Satisfaction Standards
  • Fosters strong client relationships and drives team performance to meet KPIs (profitability, safety, engagement, etc.)
  • Ensures consistent and equitable administration of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a brand ambassador of the Morrison team to the clients’ senior leadership team within the territory and handles any escalations.
  • Partners with regional team members to participate in Sales and Retention process.
  • Drives and manages the financial outcome and P&L within assigned territory.
  • In conjunction with RVP, champions partnership development, and supports regional initiatives.
  • Ensures that account complies with regulatory requirements and agencies (federal, state, and JCAHO).
  • Champions development, facilitates performance evaluations, and engages in succession planning.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    1. B.S. Degree
    2. 5-7 years of progressive food service management experience with prior multi-unit oversight.
    3. Prior leadership experience within the healthcare industry.
    4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
    5. Prior experience managing the financial success of a P&L.
