We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) to lead and support Directors of Nursing across our skilled nursing facilities throughout Michigan. As the RDON, you will play a key leadership role ensuring clinical excellence, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance while driving resident-centered care and team development.
Oversee and mentor DONs to ensure high-quality clinical care and regulatory compliance.
Lead state survey preparedness, corrective action plans, and clinical audits.
Collaborate with the corporate nursing team on strategy and clinical program implementation.
Conduct on-site visits and provide direct support during staffing changes, crisis situations, or special initiatives.
Champion a strong nursing culture of accountability, service, and excellence.
Identify opportunities for performance improvement, policy adherence, and professional growth.
Current Michigan RN license in good standing
Minimum 5 years in long-term care or skilled nursing leadership
3+ years overseeing regulatory compliance in Michigan (MDHHS, CMS)
Strong knowledge of EHR systems, infection control, and quality improvement standards
Must be available for statewide travel and on-call support
Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities
Expertise in survey recovery and five-star strategy
