Job summary

RegalCare of MA is seeking a senior clinical leader to bridge facility nursing teams with corporate operations. You will standardize care, mentor local Directors of Nursing, and enforce health standards across regional facilities.

Reporting to the VP of Clinical, the role focuses on regulatory compliance, quality audits, staff leadership, and budget support. Regular local travel to facilities is required as part of coordinating multi-site nursing programs.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• BSN required; MSN or MHA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive nursing experience; 3+ years in multi-facility leadership.
• Regular local or regional travel to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance across regional facilities and prepare for surveys.
• Monitor patient care quality and conduct chart reviews with corrective actions.
• Mentor Directors of Nursing and coordinate regional training.
• Manage nursing budgets, staffing ratios, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regional facilities adhere to state, federal, and CMS guidelines, managing survey preparations and state health inspections.
• Clinical Quality & Audits: Monitor patient care standards, conduct regular documentation and chart reviews, and implement corrective action plans.
• Staff Leadership & Training: Mentor local Director of Nursing coordinate regional training curricula, and assist with clinical recruitment needs.
• Budget & Operations Support: Collaborate with executive directors to manage nursing budgets, staffing ratios, and medical resource allocation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree (MSN or MHA) often preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive nursing experience, including 3+ years in multi-facility or facility-level nursing leadership (such as a DON or Resident Services Director).
• Travel: Regular local or regional travel between assigned facilities. [1]
