Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations, staff development, and patient care. This on-site role requires leadership, compliance, and cross-department collaboration to deliver high-quality pediatric home health services.

The position focuses on coaching staff, developing nursing standards, and ensuring adherence to physician orders and care plans while maintaining a positive work environment and HALOS

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
• 2+ years previous nursing experience required.
• Supervisory/management experience required.
• Pediatric and/or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nursing Operations: Establish priorities, assign tasks, provide coaching, feedback, and discipline as needed.
• Ensure Quality: Conduct regular rounds and monitor staff activities and documentation to maintain high standards of nursing care.
• Develop Standards: Create and maintain nursing care objectives, policies, and procedures with senior leadership.
• Support Patient Care: Assist in development of patient care plans and ensure compliance with physician orders.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Promote cross-functional communication and coordination.
• Foster a Positive Work Environment: Support retention and teamwork.
• Promote Compliance: Uphold patient rights and company policies, ensuring regulatory adherence.

This is an on-site position with occasional travel.

As Regional Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee operations of nursing services, ensuring top-quality patient care. You’ll lead staff development, monitor compliance with care standards, and collaborate across departments to maintain a positive, patient-focused environment.
