CommuniCare Family of Companies is seeking a Regional Director of Finance to lead billing, collections and business office policies across our long‑term care facilities in Cincinnati and surrounding areas. The role requires strong leadership, compliance oversight and the ability to coordinate with facility executives to optimize revenue cycle performance.

Travel between Cincinnati buildings is required; a background in Medicare/Medicaid billing and supervisory experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of nursing home billing experience.
• Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and managed care billing.
• Ability to make independent billing and collection decisions.
• Strong supervisory and staff oversight capabilities.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Job Address:10123 Alliance Road, Suite 320 Blue Ash, OH 45242Regional Director of Finance - Long Term CareThe CommuniCare Family of Health Care Companies is currently recruiting a Regional Director of Finance to supervise business office policies, billing, collection, and other related administrative duties associated with CommuniCare's Skilled Nursing Facilities located in Cincinnati.This position offers an exciting chance for an experienced Long Term Care professional to tackle challenging and diverse assignments in a team environment. The position must function as a team member, team leader, and consultant to ensure that work is accomplished and quality services are delivered.The Regional Director of Finance role will involve travel between CommuniCare's Cincinnati buildings.Estimated Pay: $85k-90k/annuallyQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS5 years previous experience with nursing home billing required.Must possess thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance and Managed Care billing, collection of policies, and processes.Must have the ability to make independent decisions regarding billing, collection, and other related matters.Must have good interpersonal skills, including the ability to oversee staff.Previous supervisory experience required.Must have experience utilizing computers, including familiarity with spreadsheets, written analysis, and automated computer systems processing.Must have good verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss matters of non-compliance with non-financial staff.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures associated with admissions, billing, collection and other related administrative duties.Oversee facility Business Office Manager (BOM) activities to ensure timely, accurate, and complete billing.Perform detailed accounts receivable reviews with facility staff. Participate in other A/R meetings as needed.Assist in identification of obstacles to collection goals and help address them; recommend resources needed to achieve desired results.Assist Executive Director (ED)/BOM in developing plans to improve results.Monitor timeliness of closing activities; ensure timely close, including the coordination of additional resources to complete a close when necessary (i.e. missing staff, open positions).Review clearing accounts to ensure accurate month-end closing and continued smooth functioning of A/R processing.Review and approve write-offs prepared by BOM after approval by EDSupervise training of staff, including development of BOM. Assist and develop an annual training plan to improve knowledge and ability of assigned BOM's.
