Job summary

First MainStreet Insurance in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Regional Director to implement growth initiatives and manage agency operations across the Northeast Iowa region. You will drive client experience, lead teams, and coordinate training and onboarding for multiple locations.

The role requires 3+ years in insurance operations or growth and 4+ years of management experience. Strong MS Office skills and licenses are essential; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' work experience in benefits, property and casualty, and/or insurance operations or growth.
• Minimum of 4 years of prior management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic PowerPoint functions.
• Licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of operational & growth strategies.
• Lead in building a best-in-class client service platform and train teams.
• Evaluate workflows to improve efficiencies and support client experience.
• Manage service & growth personnel to meet agency standards and goals.
• Oversee onboarding and development of agency locations and staff.
• Maintain producer accountability to achieve annual new business goals.
• Support recruiting and mentoring of production teams.
• Travel up to 25% to train and resolve issues and visit locations.
• Lead quarterly team huddles and integration of new M&A agencies.
