Job summary

LCS is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Services to ensure clinical success in managed communities. This RN-led role supports on-site and remote guidance for our Rental communities, emphasizing Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid registered nursing license.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Assisted Living communities.
  • Director of Nursing and multi-site consulting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Assisted Living regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to tie all clinical support to billing.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor/audit assigned communities for compliance with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards.
  • Develop and implement action plans from survey data, plans of correction, and QA reports.
  • Establish policies and procedures with nursing and admin staff.
  • Participate in community clinical admin staff interviews.
  • Produce accurate expense reports per policy.

Job description

The Regional Director of Clinical Services provides services and assistance to ensure clinical success in LCS managed communities. This role requires a Registered Nurse who will be responsible for assisting our communities in the global implementation and training of the LCS clinical programs, protocols, benchmarks, standards, federal and state regulatory compliance, and best practices in the delivery of quality care. This role will serve as the clinical liaison assisting the communities on-site as well as remotely. This role will focus on our Rental communities and requires a background working in Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor/audit assigned communities for on-going compliance in State and Federal regulations and the application of accepted nursing standards of clinical practice.
  • Provide and/or assist with the development and/or implementation of action plans based on trended survey data, plans of correction, and quality assurance reports.
  • May establish appropriate policies, procedures and practices with nursing and administrative staff.
  • Participate in community clinical administrative staff interviews as requested by LCS community leaders
  • Must be fiscally responsible with company and community finances and present accurate and validated expense reports, per company policy.
  • Support the OIG Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Support HIPAA compliance.
  • Must have the ability to write accurate and quantifiable reports that will serve as clear action plans for communities and complete reports in a timely manner.
  • Work with and make recommendations regarding ancillary providers and vendors to ensure accurate, cost effective, and quality service.
  • Analyze clinical data and provide suggestions for improved clinical outcomes.
  • Assist in the training and education for clinical systems to improve resident care.
  • Assist with the development of clinical education and training programs.
  • Assist with corporate training and education programs.
  • Endorse and supports LCS branded programs: Heartfelt Connections, Health and Wellness Navigation, Extraordinary Impressions, and Lifestyle and Health Services Health and Wellness.
  • Provide appropriate nurse consulting services as needed in a crisis situation.
  • Monitor/audit community for on-going compliance.
  • Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must have a valid registered nursing license
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Assisted Living communities
  • Director of Nursing and multi-site consulting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Assisted Living regulations and documentation requirements
  • Ability to tie all clinical support to billing.
  • Ability to develop training programs, and benchmarks for Administrators and DONs.
  • Must be able to evaluate and respond to the needs of staff, clients, residents, and families.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently.
