The Opportunity :

This position is remote, market-based. The ideal candidate should reside in Miami, Orlando, or the DMV metropolitan area.

Your role at Sephora... As a Regional Asset Protection Director, you will lead and maximize Asset Protection strategy for your region of stores. This role is accountable for inventory shrink results and reducing liability through safe work practices within the region. You will also drive additional functions such as Organized Retail Crime & Safety, AP Training/Policy & Procedure, or AP Operations & Implementation, supporting the department’s vision and objectives. You will manage a team of District Asset Protection Managers (DAPMs) who oversee Store Asset Protection Partners (SAPPs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Reducing shrink, conducting investigations, and ensuring safe business practices.
  • Building effective partnerships to improve sales, profit, customer experience, and asset protection.
  • Identifying market-specific opportunities and developing strategies to reduce shrink.
  • Guiding investigations using exception-based reporting, camera technology, behavioral interviews, and law enforcement resources.
  • Recommending physical security measures for stores.
  • Conducting store visits to evaluate shrink and liability issues.
  • Managing budgets for staffing, security, travel, and security measures.
  • Holding regular development meetings with DAPMs and creating growth plans.
  • Fostering an inclusive environment and developing diverse teams.
  • Building talent strategies, succession, and development plans.
  • Additional responsibilities may include developing partnerships for Organized Retail Crime & Safety, AP Training/Policy & Procedure, or AP Operations & Implementation, including national partnerships, training, program development, and policy updates.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Asset Protection experience in multi-unit retail.
  • Knowledge of criminal and civil law applicable to retail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and time effectively.
  • Certification such as Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Asset Protection tools, MS Office, and store systems.
  • Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time, including out-of-town travel.

The annual base salary range is $146,710.00 - $163,970.00, with potential bonuses. Sephora offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, employee discounts, insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
