Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, leads regional operations to deliver high-quality community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role directs strategic operational direction, oversees service quality and growth initiatives, and ensures financial performance while building strong partnerships with families, guardians, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Requires 7–10 years of management experience in the human services sector.
  • Licensure as required by state
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships
  • Experience overseeing regional operations and budgeting

Responsibilities

  • Set regional strategic direction for operations and align with state goals.
  • Oversee service quality and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Lead regional growth strategies to increase census and occupancy; respond to RFPs and pursue new development opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with individuals served, families, and guardians; monitor satisfaction surveys and improvement plans.
  • Manage financial performance of the regional unit; review financial statements and ensure billing compliance.
  • Provide leadership to Area Directors/Program Directors and regional support teams; enforce HR practices; supervise safety programs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the strategic direction for operations and ensure alignment with state business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the quality of services provided, including implementing initiatives to improve quality.
  • Execute regional core growth strategy to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy percentages; respond to local requests for proposals to address payer needs; identify and participate in new start development initiatives; identify potential acquisition partners.
  • Implement regional strategies to maintain and foster relationships with individuals receiving services, families, and guardians; oversee implementation of individuals supported satisfaction surveys, and implement enhancement plans.
  • Responsible for the financial performance of a regional business unit; review financial statements, oversee regional purchasing, and ensure billing compliance and documentation.
  • Provide leadership including direct supervision of Area Directors and/or Program Directors and the regional support team; implement Network employee practices; oversee regional safety and workers’ compensation implementation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and Master’s degree in Business or Human Services, or other education and experience as required by state
  • Seven to ten years of related experience with significant management experience in the human services industry
  • Licensure as required by state
  • Other certification and/or training as required by the state and/or service line
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships
