Overview of the Company

Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full-power broadcast television stations across the U.S., including in 14 of the top 15 DMAs and duopolies in 11 DMAs, such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Eighteen stations are affiliated with the FOX Network, producing approximately 1,200 hours of local news weekly, leveraging viewer and advertiser demand for the network’s content.

The Brief

• We are hiring a Regional Digital Content Creator to develop and optimize content for three FOX stations in the Northeast.
• You will coordinate with teams in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC to publish stories, videos, and social content to engage local audiences across digital platforms.
• This position is based in our Philadelphia newsroom.

Reporting to the Regional Digital Content Director, you will focus on quickly creating and sharing compelling stories tailored for digital and social audiences in the New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC markets, working closely with local teams.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content related to news and events in the Northeast, including articles, videos, live streams, photos, and social media posts.
• Collaborate with local teams to foster community engagement and brand loyalty.
• Optimize content for SEO and enhance user experience.
• Engage audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Support local digital creators and fill coverage gaps during major events.
• Work with newsroom teams to ensure speed and accuracy.
• Participate in editorial meetings and distribute high-interest stories across markets.
• Monitor analytics and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in developing, optimizing, and publishing digital and social news content.
• BA/BS in journalism, communications, or related field preferred.
• Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
• Strong news judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines and multitask effectively.
• Expertise in social media, content management systems, SEO, video publishing, live streaming, and analytics tools.
• Video and photo editing skills (Adobe suite a plus).
