Job summary

NutraCo is seeking a Regional Dietitian to lead dietitian teams across Long Term Care facilities in the United States. The role involves clinical nutrition services, assessments, care-plan development, and collaboration with facility staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

The position offers growth within a supportive network of dietitians and requires travel to multiple facilities in the region. A valid CDR-registered RD and state licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• State licensure as required varies by state.

Responsibilities

• Represent NutraCo's focus on providing compassionate care to residents.
• Take direction from the VP of Clinical Services and Regional Clinical Director.
• Provide leadership and supervision of all dietitians in the region.
• Work with facility teams to ensure clinical accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Provide clinical nutrition services to residents in Long Term Care facilities within the region.
• Conduct nutritional assessments, develop and monitor care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other dietitians for comprehensive care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and dietary management.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
• Fill in for vacancies in dietitian staffing for your region.
• Travel to various facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

As a Registered Dietitian at NutraCo, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents by addressing nutrition-related health problems through clinical nutrition treatment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with members of facility corporate teams to ensure clinical accuracy of all dietitians at the facility and client satisfaction.
• Provide clinical nutrition services to residents in Long Term Care facilities within the designated region.
• Conduct nutritional assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other dietitians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutritional practices and dietary management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
• Fill in for vacancies in dietitian staffing for your region.
• Travel to various facilities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• State licensure as required varies by state.
• Long Term Care Experience
• Strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Willingness to travel
