Job summary

Envive Healthcare in Indiana is seeking a registered dietitian to lead resident nutrition assessments on admission and throughout care, develop personalized nutrition plans, and monitor dietary needs to support overall health.

You will participate in care conferences, collaborate with nursing and food service, and conduct room visits to review practices and ensure sanitary conditions and proper meal service.

Responsibilities

• Review all new residents on admission to ensure adequate nutrition.
• Review current residents quarterly, annually and as needed.
• Assess and review residents for wounds that affect nutrition.
• Calculate energy needs to support wound healing and prevention.
• Attend Clinically At-Risk meetings.
• Attend food committee meetings as needed.
• Write Nutrition Plan of Care and update as needed.
• Conduct room visits to observe nutrition practices.
• Meet with resident and family to implement interventions.
• Tour Dietary Services to observe sanitary conditions.
• Meal tray audits monthly to ensure foods are served at appropriate temperatures and presentation.
• Communicate with Nursing staff for root cause analysis.

WriteNutritionPlan ofCare and update as needed.

Conductroomvisits for observation of the resident and to obtainhabits relating to current nutrition practices.

Meetwith resident/family as needed to implementappropriatenutritioninterventions.

Tour of Dietary Servicesas neededtoobservesanitary conditions.

DinningRoom observations as neededtoidentifyancillary services thatmaybeneficialto the resident.

Meal tray auditsmonthly and as neededto ensure foods are being servedat appropriatetemperatures,foods are palatableandforplate presentation.

RD recommendationsfor MD approval.
