Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic sales leader to manage a regional on-farm sales team and drive achievement of revenue and profitability goals.

You will build trusted relationships with DFA farmer owners and vendors while promoting DFA Farm Supplies products and services. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of dairy farming, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work across multiple shows and events to educate and grow the member base.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration or related field.
• 5–8 years in on-farm sales with proven budgets.
• 1+ year leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the assigned sales team to meet performance goals.
• Set training and development targets for sales staff.
• Build consultative relationships with DFA farmer owners and educate on FS products.
• Coach staff to own account performance and address challenges.
• Visit farmer owners within the region to understand operations.
• Coordinate with vendor reps and field staff to address member needs.
• Document interactions in Salesforce within 24 hours.
• Present at farm shows and industry events as needed.
