Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison Extension seeks a Regional Livestock Educator to partner with dairy producers and agribusiness across Crawford, La Crosse, Richland, and Vernon Counties. This in-person role develops research-based outreach materials and builds stakeholder relationships to improve productivity and profitability.

Applicants should have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Three or more years relevant professional experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply evidence-based information.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple platforms.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates curriculum and programs.
• Monitor outreach program budget spending.
• Communicates plans and results to directors and stakeholders.
• Builds external partnerships to support outreach.
• Leads implementation of programs and manages staff volunteers.
• Schedules resources and coordinates logistics for outreach.
• Delivers outreach content to community members.
• Researches and facilitates outreach content and materials.
