Job summary

R.E. Michel Company LLC, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Regional Credit Manager in Glen Burnie, MD to lead credit management and collections for a defined territory.

Reporting to the Director of Credit, you will evaluate creditworthiness, set credit limits, and oversee associates to ensure timely collections. The role requires knowledge of FCRA/EP A regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with sales and management to optimize receivables.

Qualifications

• Credit management experience required.
• Ability to analyze creditworthiness and financial statements.
• Familiarity with EPA, FCRA and Robinson-Patman Act preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review new credit applications and assign credit limits.
• Analyze information from credit references and reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and manage collections.
• Coordinate collection activity with sales and branch teams.
• Maintain knowledge of current laws and regulations in credit.
