The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Justice & Public Safety Cabinet, Department of Corrections, invites applications for the Corrections Regional Education Administrator (CREA) in West Liberty, KY. This full-time executive position leads educational programming, staff, and operations across centers to prepare offenders for successful reentry.

You will oversee curriculum planning, partnerships with stakeholders, budgeting, and program development while ensuring compliance with ACA/CEA standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, counseling, or related field.
• Five years of professional experience in academic or vocational education.
• Substitute education for experience: NONE; substitute experience for education: NONE.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient operation of the education center(s) and all course implementations.
• Conducts site and staff evaluation and reviews ensuring best practices in teaching methods or strategies and appropriate engaged classroom interactions.
• Plans and develops new and existing programs, enrollment, and retention strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepares budget for review and approval, as needed, in conjunction with supervisor. Monitors budgetary allocations and expenditures as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
