Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership is seeking a skilled Controlling professional to lead local financial planning, monthly closures, and annual budgeting. You will monitor KPIs, manage investment planning, and ensure compliance across the manufacturing site.

The role requires a degree in accounting, several years in manufacturing, and strong Excel/Word proficiency, with English language skills preferred. Willingness to relocate and travel is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred.
  • Experience with QAD/Manufacturing Pro is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is expected.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Defines and aligns the strategic financial plan locally by outlining goals and activities.
  • Conducts monthly and year-end closure actions and the associated reporting.
  • Prepares Annual Operating Plan, monitors budget deviations, KPIs, and coordinates improvement initiatives.
  • Oversees investment planning and performs Investment Evaluation Analysis.
  • Monitors legal and financial compliance and maintains internal controls.

Responsibilities
  • Aligns the strategic financial plan locally by defining and outlining goals and activities
  • Conducts monthly and year-end closure actions, including the corresponding reporting
  • Prepares Annual Operating Plan, including the monitoring of budget deviations, Key Performance Indicator development, and coordinating improvement initiatives
  • Oversees the investment planning process and runs the Investment Evaluation Analysis
  • Monitors and ensures legal and financial compliance
  • Manages the Controlling structure of the location and/or legal entity and contributes to developing tools aimed at improving financial accuracy
  • Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment
  • Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional-Level English language skills preferred
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of standard cost accounting systems; experience with QAD/Manufacturing Pro is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as required.
