Valley Interior Systems Inc. is seeking an Area Safety Manager to lead safety strategy across multiple commercial construction projects in Central Ohio. You will partner with project leadership and field teams to promote a strong safety culture and drive measurable performance.

This role requires 3+ years of safety leadership in commercial construction, deep OSHA knowledge, and the ability to train, audit, and investigate incidents. Travel between job sites in Central Ohio is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• 3+ years of safety leadership experience in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to collaborate with field leaders and drive safety initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety programs across multiple commercial construction projects.
• Conduct regular job site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Partner with site managers to implement proactive safety plans.
• Review site-specific safety requirements and risk exposures during preconstruction/startup.
• Investigate incidents and root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Track safety metrics and communicate findings to leadership.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding to field employees.
• Ensure alignment with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Promote a culture of prevention and continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation related to inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Support return-to-work coordination with HR and operations.
