Job summary

A/Z Corporation in Marlborough, MA seeks a Safety Coordinator to report to the Safety Manager and Project Manager. You will manage project safety, JHA development, risk controls, and client service on construction projects across the Eastern Region.

Responsibilities include daily site inspections, subcontractor safety plan reviews, safety training, incident reporting with Predictive Solutions, and ensuring OSHA/contract compliance. Strong writing and organization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, safety management, environmental science or related field.
• Alternate: high school diploma with 10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years as an EHS professional in construction.
• OSHA 30 certification; CSP/CHST or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for projects.
• Conduct daily site/work area safety inspections and observations.
• Provide project-specific safety training after audits.
• Review Subcontractors' Health and Safety Plans and JHAs.
• Provide daily health and safety reports and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and contract requirements.
