Job summary

A/Z Corp in East Greenwich, RI seeks an experienced Safety Coordinator to support project safety on our construction sites. You will develop JHA, conduct inspections, provide safety training, and ensure compliance with OSHA and contract requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and subcontractors, strong writing/organization, and occasional travel to project sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform site inspections and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for each project.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and observations on assigned sites.
• Provide project-specific safety training as needed.
• Review Health and Safety Plans and JHA for subcontractors to ensure conformance with policies.
• Communicate with clients, A/Z personnel and subcontractors to maintain safety standards.
• Identify health and safety issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in safety reporting and meetings with project teams.
