Greenthumbindustries is seeking a senior compliance leader in the United States to guide regulatory strategy, manage regional teams, and align operations with enterprise standards. You will coordinate with agencies, lead investigations, and drive improvements across retail and production sites.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication to navigate complex compliance landscapes in highly regulated industries.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, operations, or regulatory functions in highly regulated industries (e.g., cannabis, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, or tobacco)
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing compliance programs
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic compliance initiatives across multiple locations
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience liaising with government agencies
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Unassailable integrity and ethics

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the subject matter expert on state regulations and collaborate with Market Compliance Managers and stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Market Compliance Managers within the region
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, coordinate inspections, and respond to inquiries
• Coordinate reporting and responses to regulators regarding adverse events, recalls, and security issues
• Develop and implement regional compliance strategies aligned with enterprise goals
• Oversee compliance programs across retail and production operations and identify risk solutions
• Maintain regulatory frameworks for licensing, product safety, and operational standards
• Partner with Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs to influence regulatory developments
• Optimize policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks for operational excellence
• Lead risk assessments and develop corrective action plans to address compliance gaps
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion through regulatory assessments and integration
• Lead product commercialization efforts, including packaging and labeling reviews
• Collaborate on training programs to enhance compliance awareness
• Deliver compliance reports, dashboards, and KPIs highlighting trends and risks
• Conduct periodic site visits to validate compliance practices
