Job summary

STI in Indiana seeks a Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor to help monitor DCS contracted providers and ensure billing accuracy across multiple regions. The role involves on-site reviews and education, with a focus on preventing errors and developing corrective action plans.

Travel to provider locations in regions 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 is required, with regular team meetings and coordination with the Central Office in Marion County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Finance related field, or 4 years of audit/investigations experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with state agencies and providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience formulating and implementing audit corrective action plans.
• Knowledge of applicable state laws, policies, and procedures.
• Billing auditor experience in a state or federal agency is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site reviews of DCS contracted providers.
• Conduct reviews across DCS regions 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18.
• Educate providers and create plans of corrections when errors are found.
• Audit reviews from point of service to billing and pursue financial damages where applicable.
• Travel with a team and participate in division meetings and trainings.
