Job summary

Meta Platforms, Inc. seeks an experienced Community Development lead to partner with site selection, operations, communications, and public policy teams to drive data center initiatives and sustain crucial local relationships.

With 7+ years in public affairs or government relations and a relevant bachelor’s degree, you will shape community engagement plans, coordinate external partnerships, and travel as required to support program goals.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, nonprofit management, government relations or public engagement.
Experience communicating with highly confidential information.
Experience coordinating multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with local and state policy and legislative processes at a local level.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the data center community.
Partner with internal teams to advance company and infrastructure goals at the local level.
Develop and maintain Meta's regional data center community development plan.
Build relationships with local community partners to support infrastructure development.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50%).
