Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Regional Commercial Sales Manager in Aberdeen, MD to lead a team of outside sales representatives and grow customer relationships in the food service industry.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, data-driven planning, and engagement with customers at multiple levels. You will manage targets, develop staff, and represent the company with key clients in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of previous sales or business experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models.
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
• Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• If applicable, must participate in the company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders.
• Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives and monitor profitability, staffing, and compliance.
• Visit key existing and future customers to grow relationships.
