DePuy Synthes Trauma provides trauma care solutions for various injuries using traditional and minimally invasive techniques.

The responsibilities of the Regional Clinical Sales Specialist include supporting orthopedic surgical product sales by providing clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms, managing billing/purchase orders, logistics, and assets. The role involves working closely with management and sales teams, supporting territories across the U.S., with travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and assist surgeons during surgeries by providing clinical and technical support.
  • Support DPS sales by attending surgeries and ensuring proper equipment is available and operational.
  • Respond independently to physician needs, handle hospital billing, and manage purchase orders.
  • Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic teams to improve solutions and support growth.
  • Provide OR and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
  • Maintain and deploy equipment and assets effectively.
  • Ensure promotional materials are well-maintained and meet quality standards.
  • Support logistical operations, including moving instruments and implants.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or
  • Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + 2 years of experience or
  • 4+ years of professional experience or
  • Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. (overnight/weekend)
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the assigned region
  • Ability to work in a lab/OR environment
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Strong communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in data analysis and problem-solving
  • Results-oriented with good prioritization
  • Ability to work independently and in complex organizations
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures
  • Technical knowledge of surgical instruments and solutions preferred
