Job summary

MedStar Health in Maryland is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead the branch as a strategic operations executive, overseeing clinical outcomes, personnel, and financial activities in alignment with regulatory standards.

You will partner with Sr. Leadership to drive quality healthcare delivery, manage budgets, and ensure compliant policies, improving patient and staff satisfaction while supporting MedStar Health Home Care's mission and SPIRIT Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• At least one license in Maryland/VA/DC RN or therapy/allied health must be obtained within 1 year.
• Extensive working knowledge of reimbursement and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a change agent within a rapidly evolving health care climate.
• Assures operational performance complies with Federal and State regulations and Joint Commission standards.
• Manages budget and monitors metrics to ensure financial viability of the service area.
• Ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams and committees.
