Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Regional Driver based in the Detroit, MI area. Responsible for safe, on-time pickups and deliveries to Sherwin-Williams stores and customers in the Midwest region.

Requires a valid Class-A CDL, MEC, and endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker) or willingness to obtain. Five+ years of Class-A driving in ten years, and English proficiency are required. Benefits include health, 401K, and pension with weekly home time.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Sherwin-Williams employee.
• Must have a valid Class-A CDL.
• Must have a valid MEC (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
• Must have at least five years of Class-A road driving in the last ten years or 1 year with Sherwin.
• Must have Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain).
• Must read/speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand signs.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver/tail-gate items as directed.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and local laws.
• Uphold safety standards per company policy.
• Maintain accurate DOT trip logs.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service.
