Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Regional Driver based out of the Tacoma, WA area. You will be responsible for safe, on-time pick-ups and deliveries to Sherwin-Williams stores and customers across the Pacific region, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and customer service.

Typical duties include driving a Class-A CMV, performing pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining DOT logs, and meeting company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Sherwin-Williams employee.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
• Must have at least five years of Class-A combination (tractor/trailer) driving in the last ten years or 1 year of Sherwin Class-A experience.
• Must have Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain both on offer.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver/tail-gate items to destinations as directed.
• Understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations including DOT and FMCSA.
• Uphold strict safety standards consistent with Company policy.
• Maintain accurate and complete DOT trip logs.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service.
