Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Wichita, KS is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to cover routes across KS, IN, CO, TX, MI, IL, MO with weekly home time. Earn $80–$110K per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus; compensation includes hourly wages.

You will operate tractor trailers, load/unload hazardous waste, and ensure proper loading, securing loads, and DOT compliance while maintaining daily logs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Class A CDL required.
12 months Class A driving experience minimum.
3 months tanker experience minimum.
HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
Must be able to climb and lift 50 lbs.
Able to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

Health and safety is the priority; follow all safe work practices and policies.
Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
Placards vehicle per DOT requirements.
Maintains logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.
