Safety-Kleen in Wichita, KS is seeking a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to cover routes across KS, IN, CO, TX, MI, IL, MO with weekly home time. Earn $80–$110K per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus; compensation includes hourly wages.

You will operate tractor trailers, load/unload hazardous waste, and ensure proper loading, securing loads, and DOT compliance while maintaining daily logs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 12 months Class A driving experience minimum.
• 3 months tanker experience minimum.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Must be able to climb and lift 50 lbs.
• Able to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Health and safety is the priority; follow all safe work practices and policies.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous/non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Placards vehicle per DOT requirements.
• Maintains logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Wichita, KS! This route runs from Wichita, KS to KS, IN, CO, TX, MI, IL, MO and averages 60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times


• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles


• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units


• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads


• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations


• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL


• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience


• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience


• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements


• Ability to climb and work from heights


• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more


• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
