Job summary

GEX Transport in Florida is seeking experienced flatbed truck drivers for steady pay and reliable home weekends. CDL Class A is required, with at least 6 months of flatbed experience and 1 year of Over-the-Road or Regional experience for experienced drivers; trainees need 1 year of OTR/Regional experience.

Regional schedule offers home weekends, typically 5 days out and 2 days home. Duties include tarping, strapping down loads and completing pre-trip/post-trip inspections to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or older.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (urine test).

Responsibilities

• Tarpping and strapping down certain loads
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
