We are currently searching for dependable Regional Drivers to join our team. This role involves longer-distance driving within a designated region, typically requiring multiple days on the road. Enjoy regular home time and the potential for Safety Bonuses for qualified candidates. Our freight operations are NO TOUCH, and include drop and hook deliveries.

Pay : $0.55 / mile

Job Description

• Ensure timely deliveries to dedicated accounts within the region.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections for each load.
• Maintain accurate daily electronic logs (E-Logs).
• Operate company-owned tractor-trailer trucks for transportation of regional freight.
• Perform required maintenance and submit necessary reports for equipment.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during all pickup and delivery operations.
• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety program certifications.
• Keep company property in excellent condition.
• Immediately report accidents and communicate any delays to dispatch or management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Clean driving record (MVR, CSA, and prior employment).
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
• Current DOT physical certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience or equivalent military experience.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Experience operating various types of vehicles safely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Commitment to maintaining equipment safety at all times.
• Willingness to be away from home for multiple days.
• Effective time management skills and route planning capabilities.

Physical Demands :

• Extended periods of sitting while operating vehicles.
• Manual dexterity for vehicle operation and equipment management.
• Occasional heavy lifting (50+ pounds) for cargo handling.
• High concentration and situational awareness during long drives.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Adaptability to various weather conditions.
• Physical capability for climbing in and out of truck cabs and trailers.
• Adherence to all health and safety regulations, including use of personal protective equipment.
