The role includes 6 months flatbed experience requirement and equipment training by Ryder, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Deliveries cover Midwestern states; equipment includes Day Cab sleeper tractors and various trailers. Eligibility includes DOT physical, drug test, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience in last 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years
• Must pass Ryder drug test and background check including motor vehicle records
• Must have valid CDL and endorsements for the position
• Willingness to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Detect safety hazards and maintain accurate records/logs
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
