Job summary

Ryder in Lansing, MI is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. This role offers weekly pay, $29.00 per hour, and paid training with a flexible schedule. Expect regional routes IN, OH, MI, TN & KY, with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements required.

Minimum experience includes 9 months in the last 3 years (or 2 in 5, or 5 in 10), plus 1 year flatbed exposure. Benefits include PTO from day 1, uniforms, boot allowance, 401(k) with company match, and maternity leave options.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Hazmat, Tanker & Doubles/Triples Endorsements required.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test and a background/motor vehicle check for last 3 years.
• Valid CDL and endorsements for the position.

• Load/unload freight or assist as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Perform safety checks and follow routes as assigned.
