Job summary

Denali Water Solutions LLC in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Lead Support Driver to haul food waste and organic materials with end-dump trailers on a regional travel schedule. This full-time role requires traveling across MI, OH, Western PA, KY and beyond, with a strong emphasis on safety, independence, and effective communication with dispatch and customers.

Compensation includes a $1,700 weekly salary, per diem, sign-on bonus, and several incentive programs to reward

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to travel extensively across multiple states.
• Strong communication with dispatch and customers.
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented while driving and performing duties.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles with end-dump trailers to haul food waste, organic materials, and bulk commodities.
• Provide route coverage for drivers who are unavailable due to PTO, vacation, or other absences.
• Travel to multiple operating locations and provide transportation support based on business needs.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation.
• Transport loads safely while complying with DOT, FMCSA, environmental, and company regulations.
• Inspect equipment, identify maintenance concerns, and report issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, maintenance personnel, customers, and other drivers.
• Learn unfamiliar routes quickly and assist with route familiarization when needed.
